02.08.2008 DALLAS-- Jan-Michael Gambill, the former American Davis Cup player, appears to be somewhat healthy as he has
played several singles and doubles ATP Tour matches in the last few months. At Calabasas in October of 2007, Gambill lost
to Benedikt Dorsch 6-4, 7-6(8-6). Last month Gambill played in both Miami and Dallas. The week of January 14th, Gambill
lost to Eric Prodon 6-4, 6-4 in Miami. The week of January 28th Gambill lost to Benedikt Dorsch 7-5, 6-2 in Dallas. Gambill
also played a few doubles matches at these events. Normally I would be a bit down after these loses, but at least Gambill
is back on the tennis court so it's a step forward if he is to play on the ATP Tour week after week again.

Tennis Channel, you can catch encores of Jan-Michael Gambill playing singles and doubles for the Houston Wranglers. As you may know the
Tennis Channel repeats everything over and over.

our "sources" must be on the beach since we have not heard back why Gambill withdrew from Montreal yet. Hopefully they are having fun. We'll post
more when we know more...

Jan-Michael Gambill Out Of Washinton DC Qualifying
07.28.2007 WASHINGTON,DC-- Jan-Michael Gambill has lost 6-3, 6-1 to Wayne Odesnik in qualifying round one in about 53 minutes today. A good
effort and about 9 or 10 aces from Gambill but there seems to be a lot of work to do still to get back to championship form. Gambill did play some World
Team Tennis over the summer and is involved with his tennis camp in Hawaii so maybe he is attempting a small comeback of sorts after a ton of
injuries. Jan-Michael could choose to enter the qualifying at Montreal, Canada (08.05.2007) or Cincinnati, Ohio (08.13.2007) next.
WASHINGTON,DC Q1: Wayne Odesnik def. Jan-Michael Gambill 6-3, 6-1.
